September test

Written test: 17th September

Students will only have to do the part they didn't pass in June. These are the times:

4.00 pm: Reading
4.50 pm: Listening
5.30 pm: Writing

Convocatoria orales: the same day, after the written test is finished. There will be a list in the Information area downstairs and also on the classroom door

Corrección de errores y tiempos para el oral

Disculpad porque en un post de hace unos días me equivoqué en las fechas para el oral. En ningún caso serán el lunes, sino esta misma tarde o mañana (vuestro profesor os lo dirá)

En el examen de intermedio muchos alumnos no eran conscientes del tiempo que tienen que hablar. Os recuerdo los tiempos en Avanzado:

- Preparación (de un tema de entre dos que se os ofrecerán): 4 minutos
- Monólogo: entre 4 y 6 minutos
- Interacción: entre 7 y 10 minutos

Grupo I6 - 18J (Alternos Lunes / Miércoles): 002 (planta baja). Las aulas para el oral serán la 002 o la 211


Grupo I6 - 18M (Alternos Martes / Jueves): 007 (planta baja). La misma aula para el examen oral


Grupo I6 - 20A (Diario): 104 (primera planta). Las aulas para el oral serán la 104 o la 111

Día 20 de junio:

* 4.00 pm: Reading: 50 minutos
* 4.50 pm: Listening: (máximo 45 minutos)
* 5.35 pm: Writing: 50 minutos


No se puede utilizar diccionario ni teléfono móvil

Examen oral: el jueves día 20 o el viernes día 21 (el profesor os lo comunicará) 

Los alumnos no podrán salir del aula durante el tiempo que dure la prueba escrita

Es necesario traer el DNI para que el profesor compruebe vuestra identidad

Cuando termine la prueba escrita, vuestro profesor comenzará a preparar la convocatoria del examen oral. Él / ella os dirá a qué hora (de esa misma tarde) se hará pública dicha convocatoria, que se podrá consultar en los tablones de la EOI o bien en la puerta del aula donde hayáis hecho el examen

No se podrá elegir "pareja" para el examen oral, se hará todo por orden alfabético

Los alumnos podrán tomar notas durante el tiempo de preparación del monólogo. Es posible que el profesor os pida ese papel al final, pero no se tendrá en cuenta para puntuar. No hay tiempo de preparación para la interacción

La pruebas orales serán grabadas

Las notas se publicarán en los tablones de la EOI el 25 de junio a partir de las 6.00 pm

Si algún alumno no estuviera de acuerdo con la calificación otorgada, podrá presentar una reclamación dirigida al Director del Centro en la que explique los motivos de su desacuerdo. El plazo será del 26 al 28 de junio, ambos inclusive

La calificaciones en cada destreza serán APTO / NA (NO APTO) / NP (NO PRESENTADO). No hay nota numérica

La Consejería de Educación ha enviado cuatro profesores de apoyo para realizar las pruebas terminales, dado el gran número de alumnos que se presentan (sobre todo en el Nivel Intermedio) y los pocos días que tenemos.

That's all folks!!! So it's goodbye for this year...a long year, remember when we started lessons back in September? 

I have to thank everyone for being so nice. I hope you've learnt a lot and my lessons (or at least some of them) have inspired you in some way

Thank you for following this humble blog. Judging from the number of hits the blog's had this course, I suppose it must have been a good thing

Happy to have everything planned for England this summer!!!!

Hasta el día del examen

¿Qué se puede hacer hasta el 20 de junio, día fijado para la prueba escrita del examen de Nivel Avanzado?

- Repasar los apuntes de clase
- Repasar los temas del libro y ver los que no ha dado tiempo a tratar
- Hacer ejercicios del Workbook
- Entrar en esas páginas web que he ido recomendado para hacer práctica de listening
- Quedar con compañeros de clase (o con alguien que hable inglés) y preparar temas del monólogo y de  interacción
- Mirar los distintos formatos de writing que hemos ido haciendo e ir apuntando estructuras gramaticales y vocabulario para poder aplicar al tema que salga en el examen
